Cybersec Base #001: My Cybersecurity Love Story
Let me tell you a Cybersecurity Love story!
There lived a young lady named Valentina who was fascinated by how technology was constantly changing and evolving and who knew she was passionate about the IT industry. She made the decision to research several areas of Tech, including cybersecurity, software development, and artificial intelligence since she wanted to understand as much as she could and most importantly grasp their relationship.
Initially, Valentina was interested in all of these fields and couldn't pick which to pursue. However, as she continued to study , she became interested in cybersecurity. She was astounded by the field's complexity and the need for keeping data and systems secure(it seemed like being a sort of savior or something close to that). Valentina became familiar with various types of cyber attacks, such as Phishing, Malware, Man-in-the-Middle and SQL Injection, and was fascinated by how cybercriminals were constantly devising new ways to access critical information and assets.
She discovered that the world of cybersecurity was always changing and that there was always more to learn(sure a lot of cybersecurity folks can attest to this). She was also impressed by the potential impact of cybersecurity on people's lives and recognized that she wanted to be a part of the solution. Valentina poured herself into her studies and focused on cybersecurity, and before she knew it, she had fallen in love with it, or should i say, completely in love with it. She looked forward to learning more about the profession and felt that she was making a meaningful difference in the world by helping to protect people and organizations from cyber threats(some cyber avengers feelings)
As a result, Valentina's interest in technology led her to the field of cybersecurity, where she found her true calling. She continues to learn and grow in her field and is now a rising cybersecurity professional, the human behind Cyvally.
Probably should end with "And they lived happily ever after" (jokes), but yeah, Valentina and Cybersecurity are happy to have found each other.
